Hailing from a long family line of builders, Bob has previously worked professionally both on site and in drawing offices and now runs his own NHBC registered building company. A founder member of the Ecological Design Association, Chairman of the Research Into Lost Knowledge Organisation (RILKO) and a member of the House of Commons/House of Lords Cross Party Associate Environment Group, Bob has been building the Earthdome development over the past two and a half years and in 2005 was voted by the National Federation of Master Builders as FMB Master Builder of the Year in the Energy Efficiency category. Bob has been teaching and facilitating an Ecological Building Course at Richmond-upon-Thames College in Richmond, London for over fourteen years and is a visiting lecturer at the LSE in London. He is a co-founder of a Becon award-winning series of Environmental Health and related courses under the banner of Agenda 21.
Bob is now lecturing on an eco building evening course at Kingston
University which is available to self builders at a considerably
discounted rate.
