LivingARKs innovative zero carbon off-grid gardenARK is designed by the UK's leading sustainable architectural practice ZEDfactory led by Bill Dunster.   livingARKs aims to transform the market by offering affordable sustainable solutions that serve as benchmarks to industry.

The gardenARK has a  12m2 floor space which can be used as your office, as your living room or as a house for your guests. gardenARKS use the most sustainable sheeps wool insulation available, coupled with low-e double glazed windows & patio doors so you won't get hot in summer or cold in winter!  A front porch for those warm summer evenings and autumn days. The low maintenance green roof enhances biodiversity with local plants acting as insulation and helping stop flash flooding. The back extension provides space for the odourless composting toilet and a store room, as well as supporting the generously sized solar panels and wind turbine. The renewables, combined with a large battery pack, provide sufficient power for running a laptop or small TV, for lighting the building with super efficient LED lighting and charging your phone or using other small appliances.
