Potton Show Home
Ruskin - The Potton Show Home
A glamorous 2,300 sq ft timber framed building which demonstrates clearly just how far you can take a traditional building material. Behind the traditional facade - a timber frame with slate roof and brick cladding - is a truly modern, open plan home with everything from whole-house ventilation to centrally controlled light and sound.
The house is named after one of the greatest figures of the Victorian age, John Ruskin: a poet, artist, critic, social revolutionary and above all conservationist heavily involved in town and country planning, green belts and smokeless zones: very apt for today's times.
