So much of the knowledge needed is hidden from view or littered with jargon. But here you can walk through exhibits that lay bare and contrast the various methods of building in exploded detail.

Pull on a set of headphones and get a guided audio Tour through the self build journey which takes you on a personal stage by stage tour of a self build project. There are 3D full-sized displays where you can see how the fabric of a house is put together - from drainage and foundations to walls and roofing.
