The National Self Build & Renovation Centre

The UK’s only permanent visitor centre for anyone taking on a property project – be it a home improvement, renovation, conversion, or self build. Because of its permanent nature, the Centre features all kinds of fantastic features to help you really understand every step needed to build (or rebuild) your home.

When you arrive in the Centre you’ll be struck by the Potton Show Home – a full-size timber-framed building proving exactly how luxurious a self build can be.

Your next step is based on your own interests; renovators can head off to the Renovation House to take the audio tour, talking you through every stage of a renovation project. Self builders can head to the Education Journey to take the Self Build audio tour, starting at services and site set up and taking you right through to the finishes you can choose for your home. You’ll also enjoy the Design Centre, which holds hundreds of house design ideas.

All visitors should spend some time in the Trade Village exhibitor area, where you’ll find hundreds of products and services on display.
