Walking Seminars are a fantastic opportunity for visitors to get a more in-depth understanding of the sustainable building and eco technology options available to them, as well as learning how to get the most from the Centre’s permanent exhibits.
Experts Tim Pullen, Tim Pollard and Sam Kirby deliver their walking seminars with a unique mix of expert knowledge and practical advice, encouraging questions from the group to which they will both give truly independent and fact-based answers.
Self Build Walking Seminars at the Big Green Home Show will be led very much by visitor preferences, but in general will cover Water Management (rainwater harvesting, grey water recycling, dual flush cisterns, aerated taps), Heat & Power (heat recovery, radiators, condensing boilers, underfloor heating, thermal stores, ventilation) and Micro-Generation (photovoltaic panels, biomass boilers, wind turbines and solar thermal).
Sam Kirby and Adrian Hinchliffe deliver fascinating tours of the Renovation Zone throughout the day, answering all your ‘ecovation’ questions, using the life-sized exhibits to illustrate their points and boost your understanding. Renovation Walking Seminars take place every hour, lasting 45 minutes. Head to the Renovation House to book your place!
Delivered to small groups of visitors, Walking Seminars really are an excellent way to get more in-depth information on the subject close to your heart.
