| Feature seminar 1: Tommy’s House | |
| In this one-off, ‘Exclusive’ prior to the launch of “Tommy’s House” onto our TV screens later this Autumn on Discovery Channel, Tommy will be revealing how he went about building his first ever Self Build – a bespoke, contemporary, eco-friendly house in the Fenlands - on a budget of just £60k. Tommy will also be revealing the reasons Tommy’s House has created so much interest from the media, government and other relevant parties, explaining why he has nicknamed his house ‘Damian’s Den’ (being 60 60 60!) and revealing how he has ultimately achieved far more than he originally set out to achieve by building what has been hailed as ‘the most eco efficient house ever built in the Fenlands’. Hear Tommy’s own Self Build Journey from the Big Man himself! |

| Feature seminar 2: Tommy's Renovation and Restoration Projects | |
| Tommy's second seminar focuses on two of his own renovation and restoration projects: firstly, his own Victorian house in East London which has involved a virtual re-build of the original house and some interesting conservation problems along the way. Next up, a Grade II listed building that Tommy has lovingly restored back to former glory. Originally built by Sir George Gilbert Scott, the house started life as a work-house school, before becoming an Italian Internment Camp during the war. More recently, after being derelict for the best part of 20 years, Tommy rescued the house from a nearly sad fate of being demolished by developers to create a car-park. Local heritage Officers said the house is now “even better than the original design” and have offered Tommy his pick from 50 or 60 other ‘At Risk' buildings to restore. So come along and hear Tommy's tips on how to restore and renovate both stylishly and sympathetically. |
