Buildstore in database relaunch

Self build firm Buildstore has announced it is to relaunch its plot finder database, which offers subscribers information on where they can find land for self build purposes.

Known as Plotsearch, the revamped online facility will offer visitors access to around 6,000 available plots per day for an annual subscription of £39 or 80p per download, the firm stated.

It added that the site now includes new enhancements suggested by users, such as better search and sort options, access to personal accounts and the provision of help for professional propertydevelopers to find sites.

Buildstore chief executive Raymond Connor said the new Plotsearch site is "easy to use and offers our users a variety of up-to-date opportunities and comprehensive infomation on the latest plots and properties throughout the UK".

Plots available for building on come from a variety of sources and exist in a variety of locations.

Earlier this week the Campaign to Protect Rural England predicted that three-quarters of new homes would be constructed on brownfield sites in urban areas between now and 2026.
