Countryside self builders have 'better neighbourly relations'

People who choose to self build in the countryside are likely to have better relationships with their neighbours, it has been found.
Furthermore, buying a plot in England's green and pleasant land will also increase one's feelings of security, according to a survey by Legal & General.
Of those surveyed, 80 per cent of people who live in the remote countryside claimed that they know their neighbours very well or quite well, while more than half of people who live in a city centre said that they did not know their fellow residents.
Every single person surveyed who lives in a remote location said they feel safe all the time, while 52 per cent of people in a city centre have the same sense of security.
One of the easiest ways to find a countryside plot is to use a recognised plot search site.
