Flat-pack homes 'for just £11,000'

It has been reported that those looking to self build their way onto the housing ladder can do so for just £11,000.
Furniture store Argos is selling a log cabin known as a Helsinki Home for this price, which comes in flat-pack form and comes with laminate flooring plus under floor heating.
It can be assembled with nothing more than basic tools, propertytoday.co.uk reports, which adds that the only thing which is needed beforehand is the plot of land on which to assemble it first.
Argos has recommended that those building such a house should first lay down a concrete base.
The use of flat-pack housing has already been carried out on a large scale in the north-east.
Ikea's BokLok design has been used for one development in Gateshead and is now going to be used in another new housing programme in nearby Sunderland, it was revealed at the end of last month.
