Flat roofs 'popular in Wales'

A new franchise has been launched by roofing contractor Colin Richards to meet huge demand for flat roof buildings and renovations.

Roof Master was established after Mr Richards was inundated with customers from all over Wales requesting such services, and is being extended to people who would like to run similar operations across the UK.

The Roof Master Liquid Membrane System uses unsaturated polyester resin technology to provide a system of coating flat roofs that is, according to Mr Richards, faster, cheaper and more effective.

"After much experimentation ironing out any problems with the two-coat system, we now have a technique that fits in perfectly with the fast-paced and demanding lives of both our domestic and industrial clients," he said.

"My roofers operate in Aberystwyth and throughout Wales using the liquid membrane system which means the average roof now only takes as little as four hours for us to complete.

"I've seen a huge demand from domestic clients and I'm getting many inquiries from around the country," he continued.
