Replace paint or varnish the doors for a cheap and easy renovation or replace doorknobs, handles and taps.

You can also change worktops and shower curtains if you want to alter the look of your property on a shoestring budget.

Tidying up gardens, clearing out gutters, cleaning windows and putting out some plant pots will also give a good first impression of your home.
