Home of 2080 revealed

The future of housing has been revealed by a new study which claims to have discovered the house of 2080.
According to a study by Arup Associates and Zurich Insurance, future homes will be perched on stilts if you live in a low-lying area at risk of flood.
They will also be modular, with removable walls so you can create and take away extra rooms with ease. The thinking behind this is that a couple might buy a house and then add rooms to it when they have children, then take them away once the children flee the nest.
Windows will be triple-insulated with argon between the panes so that they are highly insulated while rainwater collected in the roof will be pumped around the house to keep it cool in summer.
Green features such as wind turbines, solar panels and photovoltaic cells as zero-carbon living will become popular by 2080.
