Homeowners 'can make even the pokiest property look great'

Even the smallest of dwellings can be made to look great, an industry specialist has said.
Young homeowners can sometimes feel ashamed that in the current financial climate all they can afford is a small one-bedroom flat but they can still create "a great look in a small space", according to housetohome.
Feelings of disappointment can be amplified by watching television shows such as Cribs, which follows various celebrities around their palatial properties, Ben Richards, content editor at the magazine said.
However, Mr Richards explained that "we just have to have work with what we have got", and should start planning a bright, exciting look no matter what size the property is.
This month Henley Centre HeadlightVision released a survey for IKEA which discovered that 18 per cent householders felt anxious and dejected about the condition of their homes and this figure increased to one in three among those aged between 25 and 35.
