Housing market is "never static"

The property sector in the UK is never motionless as it is always a buyers' market or a sellers' market, Briffy.com has said.

David Amstell of the site said that at the moment it is a buyers' market, so sellers are looking displeased, but this could be good news for self builders looking to pick up a cheap plot of land.

Mr Amstell commented that prices have gone down but when everything settles prices will rise once more and "we will have other problems".

"It is never a static market. It is either a buyers' market or a sellers' market. One or the other is going to be unhappy," he furthered.

Jon Neale, head of development research at Knight Frank, says that significant decreases in the value of developmentland have left it prime for plucking as it is undervalued.

The fall in the value of developmentland could be good news for anyone looking for a plot to build their ideal home on.ADNFCR-833-ID-18871356-ADNFCR
