Lots of glass, hiding gutters, having a roof garden and an open plan layout all add a contemporary feel to a home. Your lighting scheme should also be well designed so it can provide a variety of moods and effects.

A beautiful bathroom, entrance hall and a good roof can stream sunlight into your home and add to its modern look and feel.
