People ''ditching estate agents''

Due to the rise in property websites and more people getting online, it seems that selling your home privately is cutting out the middle man and becoming a reality, according to one expert.
Private HQ, which advises private sellers on the web, says that people are finally being able to reap the financial rewards usually enjoyed by estate agents when they sell their own homes.
This comes as one estate agents called Savills revealed that staff will soon be taking home bonuses out of a £125 million profit pool due to record profits over the last year.
Annie Allison, from Private HQ, said: "These types of figures just highlight the reason why selling your property privately is a very good idea and more people should be seriously considering it."
There are approximately eight buyers for every seller in the UK property market, according to a new study by Hamptons International.
