People flocking to Wales for quality of life

Moving to Wales is a lifestyle choice that many are making, according to the Buy Association which is an impartial property industry commentator.

Although Cardiff is a big city, Wales is not traditionally known for its job opportunities or attractions, so many people are moving here to escape the hustle and bustle of larger towns and to enjoy a cheaper standard of living.

They also want to improve their quality of life with lots of fresh air, mountain walks, coastal areas, wildlife and good food.

The editor of Homes & Property magazine, Kate Hamilton, agrees.

She said: "I think for the majority of people that would consider moving to Wales it would be simply because they think it offers a better quality of life."

Scotland is a similar choice with its easy access to green countryside within reach from cosmopolitan cities. It means that people can live near town and near the country but without the long commute in between which you get when you live in London.
