Property market "heats up" over Easter

With the impending Easter break and extended bank holiday weekend coming up, it seems house hunting will be at the top of many people''s agendas, according to experts.
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Rics) says that the residential market may "heat up" as people enjoy two extra days off work which gives them time to get organised and contact sellers or buyers.
Jeremy Leaf, the spokesperson for Rics, said: "Many people involved in the 1.2 million house sales which take place in the UK every year are overwhelmed by the process of buying or selling a home."
If you are looking to sell then Rics advises that you keep the house and garden tidy and make sure you are flexible so that potential buyers can visit the property.
Buyers, on the other hand, should be thoroughly researching the area which they want to live in so that they can scope out possible properties for their short-lists.
