Regenerated areas need careful planning

If you are looking to invest in property in an area of regeneration then it is important to research the region thoroughly, warns one housing expert.
Instant Access Property, who specialise in housing investment education, has issued this warning to people who may be looking for a property in a regenerated area of the UK because they have been priced out of London and the south-east.
Pierre Williams, head of communications at Instant Access Properties, said: "There has been an awful lot of regeneration and new developments concentrated in specific regeneration areas, to the point where you are going to get some momentary over-supply which means that prices are not going to escalate at the level at which they have in recent years."
He said that the key thing is for people to research where they are buying and do their homework.
They should also establish whether or not the market is buoyant and if it is likely to retain this buoyancy, perhaps due to improved infrastructure and regeneration.
