Renovation centre puts on outdoor show

The National Self Build and Renovation Centre in Swindon is to put on its own show in the spring to encourage householders to do more to renovate the outside of their homes to enhance the overall living experience, Buildstore has announced.
Held on the weekend of April 5th and 6th, the Outdoor Living event will provide information on how people can use the warmer weather and lighter evenings to do everything from brightening up their gardens and adding outdoor lighting to fitting garden offices and conservatories.
Looking to spread the message that how people live outside their homes is as important as how they live in them, the centre's managing director Tim Doherty said: "The right surroundings can help complement the rest of the house, add value and appeal to a property, and a well planned garden can act as an extended living space, providing another room."
Gardening Which Magazine suggested this week that one product which is popular with those looking after gardens is a computerised watering device, which ensures householders can have their plants watered without requiring any personal effort.
