Scotland's most expensive plot of land up for grabs

Budding builders with a spare £1.5 million in their pocket can bid for Scotland's most expensive single plot of land, according to the Herald.
The plot can be found at one of the country's most exclusive developments and overlooks the Gleneagles golf course.
Any buyer looking at building a beautiful brick behemoth should consider plot number eight in the gated development known as Queen's Crescent.
According to Jamie Macnab of Savills in Edinburgh, the development is for the "super wealthy".
"Together with Caledonian Crescent and Balmoral Crescent, Queen's Crescent is the most exclusive address around", he added.
According to reports, the buyer of the plot can scrap any existing plans for the quarters and is able to build something completely different.
In June an acre of land in Wirral went up for sale for £1.75 million, a price tag that would potentially make the Caldy plot the most expensive ever sold in Merseyside, according to the Liverpool Daily Post.
