Self Build centre to repeat show

Buildstore has announced that its National Self Build and Renovation Centre in Swindon is to repeat last year's show for those keen to build their own home.
The firm has said it will run the second Self Build and RenovationShow from March 6th to the 9th, with a mixture of demonstrations, workshops and seminars to help people get to grips with what is involved in self build.
Tim Doherty, the centre's manager, described the show as "interactive and dynamic and with a refreshing and entertaining mix of seminars, face-to-face consultations and live product demonstrations".
It will also use the occasion to launch an environmentally-friendly timber frame package based by manufacturer Pottons on the frame used in Ground Force presenter Tommy Walsh's housing project, which saw a new house constructed in 60 days for only £60,000.
Announcing the forthcoming launch of the frame today, Pottons director Joe Martoccia said the firm holds "similar values to Tommy when it comes to affordable, sustainable self build".
