Self build eco-home put on market

A self build home created by Tommy Walsh, presenter of TV show Groundforce, has gone on the market.
The house, an eco-home that Mr Walsh completed building six months ago, has just gone on the market after finishing touches were added to the interior, the Cambs Times reports.
Mr Walsh bought the plot in the town of March for £60,000, built it for the same amount and had the work completed in 60 days.
To add to that trio of 60s, the asking price for the house is £180,000.
Commenting on the project, which saw recycled materials used extensively and eco-features such as solar panels and high quality insulation included, Mr Walsh said: "The good thing about self build is you get to make all the decisions."
In another possible indication of the growing popularity of self-build and renovation, organisers of the Scottish Homebuilding and Renovating Show have announced this week that there will be around 140 exhibitors offering advice and help at the event, which will be held in Glasgow in May.
