Swimming pools can 'seal the deal'

Additions to homes such as tennis courts and swimming pools can help to sell them, but the position of these houses is likely to be more important, it has been claimed.
Your Move sales director Jane Walmsley noted that if a home is in the "right place", then it will not really matter if it has luxurious amenities.
Moreover, because individuals at the high end of the property market have money to play with then they can make bigger choices, Ms Walmsley noted.
"People at the higher end can be a lot choosier and a lot pickier and 99 per cent of the time, it's the location that sells property," she commented.
She added that in these sorts of prince ranges, people can do whatever they want with their cash and go somewhere else if the environment is not suitable.
The best amendment to make to a home is in its kitchen, 71 per cent of estate agents polled by Spicerhaart have said recently.
