Jack and his partner Hannah approached BuildStore back in 2015 to discuss their finance options for a plot they were interested in at Graven Hill.

As first time buyers, the couple had a limited budget though were always interested in building their own home, “we wanted to settle in Oxfordshire to be near friends and family and the Graven Hill location suited us well and allowed us to design a house that we could afford without the hassle of going through the usual process of planning.”

Jack and Hannah have enjoyed their custom build project and in particular, the freedom that this option allows as they have had the chance to build a house that suits their lifestyle.

“The opportunity to build your own home is not one that many people in the UK have had and we found it very rewarding. We have been able to design something that is architecturally unique, has plenty of space and was easy to build. We were able to decide where we want things such as sockets and light switches, which have been placed to suit our needs and intentions with regards to furnishing the completed house.”
